I don’t usually carry bags as large as the Large Rowan, but this is a good option for a work bag. It holds my MacBook Pro with space to spare for other items. The shoulder strap is comfortable, and the strap design allows you to utilize the entire width of the opening even though it appears small.

I purchased this bag for my Mom for her birthday. She absolutely loves that the Rowan is exclusively a shoulder carry and loves the color. I personally wasn’t crazy about the straps. They’re stiff and unfinished looking. The bag is also on the heavy side so that is also something to consider.

I do love my new pebbled bone medium Rowan. It is a bit narrower (in depth) than what I usually carry, but I think it looks very sophisticated and it has an outside pocket! Some have questioned the ease of opening it with the top handle, and while it is a bit awkward, it’s not a deal breaker. The pebbled bone is also a great summer color.

Rowan Shoulder Bag (medium) in Orchid

The Rowan Shoulder Bag is unlike my other bags in that it is fairly large (but not a tote) and is not a crossbody. It has an outside pocket in the back. It has a loop for holding keys, and plenty of room inside, but no other pockets. The shoulder straps are sewn together; maybe one wide strap would be better? The Orchid leather is beautiful, and flexible but not so squishy that it easily flops over. This bag has taken some getting used to, but overall I like it.
