Why do you use leather with prominent character marks in the first place?
We only qualify Almost Perfect in terms of cosmetic irregularities that have absolutely no impact on the quality or durability of our products. Rather, we figured that it'd be a shame to waste such beautiful and functional leather, so we decided to sell it at a discounted price.
What type of imperfection will I get with this bag?
Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. That being said, rest assured that none of these "imperfections" will impact the functionality of the bag in any way!

Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

I don’t know if I would’ve purchased this bag if it hadn’t just been highlighted as a special offering just after Christmas however I really love it especially because I have hooked the bag through just one of the hardware circles and I leave the other one to hang bling. It’s perfect.

This handbag is fabulous! I have it in black and cosmo. I think it’s my new fav. If you love a shoulder bag you’re gonna need this. No inside pockets so I just store my items in littles to stay organized so it’s easy to find stuff.

My AP Lagoon Slouchy purse is great! I can’t find anything that makes it an AP, it’s perfect! I love the pebbles and lagoon color, it’s a little more firm than my Cosmo or Plum leather. It’s softening up with use. There are no sewn in pockets on the inside, I wish it had them. The no pockets is not a deal breaker for me though. Love this purse!

Great for running errands, date night, or whatever! It’s big enough to fit the necessities, but not overwhelming or heavy. Koi is so soft, supple, and perfect for the slouchy! And the pebbles are small and proportional to the bag size, which is great.

The Slouchy Shoulder Bag is SO much better in person! I was late trying Slouchy because, looking at the website’s computerized images, I imagined Slouchy to be dull, just a hollow cinderblock with a strap. And I figured I’d have to spend all my waking hours digging around blindly for various purse contents, or emptying the entire bag to find one item. But I bought one after some PLG Insiders highly recommended it to me when I asked for some guidance. Now I have both Small and Large Slouchy Bags.
In person, Slouchy is beautiful and has plenty of personality. The color Laurel is a soft, mellow green suede leather with an understated beauty and a relaxed, soothing energy. Laurel is versatile, and is suitable for all seasons and many occasions.
In either size, Slouchy is also built for functionality. This bag looks great and is comfortable whether lightly loaded or fully packed. I love the wider strap and ergonomic balance. I do recommend the PLG canvas organizer and PLG leather organizing pouches to make the most of your Slouchy.
See my attached photos, which I took outdoors in the afternoon in dappled sunlight. What may look like irregularities are not—It’s just that the raised nap of suede responds to light, shade, and to touch. For touchups, use a suede brush, baby brush, or lint-free cloth.
Im new to this style, but I'm enjoying it as a daily bag! Love the color!
Ordered the slouchy should bag in cold brew. It arrived and had nice pebbling and was roomy.
