Why do you use leather with prominent character marks in the first place?
We only qualify Almost Perfect in terms of cosmetic irregularities that have absolutely no impact on the quality or durability of our products. Rather, we figured that it'd be a shame to waste such beautiful and functional leather, so we decided to sell it at a discounted price.
What type of imperfection will I get with this bag?
Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. That being said, rest assured that none of these "imperfections" will impact the functionality of the bag in any way!

Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

I have larkspur (very unique leather and I love purple), chocolate brown (surprisingly soft and pliable for a smooth leather) and now Sienna (just had to have one pebbled because that’s my jam). It’s slouchy yes but still super classy in a comfy way. Highly recommend.

Super cute little nugget in structured evergreen. The small doesn't hold a whole lot, but I'll make it work for days when I just need to carry essentials. It makes this boring midwesterner feel like she should be traipsing through the Scottish highlands in fall, TBH.

Love the Monaco bag in small. Carries my phone, glasses case, wallet, keys, a small hair clip and lipgloss. It fits more than you think. I have the Madrone color. I like the smooth finish and the color is the perfect sophisticated brown.
