Why do you use leather with prominent character marks in the first place?
We only qualify Almost Perfect in terms of cosmetic irregularities that have absolutely no impact on the quality or durability of our products. Rather, we figured that it'd be a shame to waste such beautiful and functional leather, so we decided to sell it at a discounted price.
What type of imperfection will I get with this bag?
Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. That being said, rest assured that none of these "imperfections" will impact the functionality of the bag in any way!
What if I don't love my Almost Perfect bag?
Everything from our Almost Perfect collection (excluding Mystery Box bundles) falls under our usual return policy. For more detailed information, visit our Returns page.
Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

This is a great bag! Lightweight and comfortable to carry. I absolutely love the wider shoulder strap and the big inside pocket. Storm is one of my favorite brushed leathers. It can get rained on and you won’t even notice after it dries. This bag easily fits my trifold wallet, sidekick, and glasses case with room leftover.

I first became aware of the Hawkeye Satchel while aimlessly looking for a replacement for a canvas bag. Regardless, when I came across the Hawkeye, that cost under $100 dollars, I knew I stumbled upon something great. The bag is sized perfectly for my needs. It’s roughly 9 in. x 10 in. x 3.5 in. The build quality really stood out to be when I first adjusted the shoulder strap and loaded up my medium size sketch book, a planner, phone and a novel. The Canyon color is a rich dark brown and have been pleased with its earthy tone. Thanks for a great bag.

I would give this all the stars if I could! I love this bag. Holds a surprising amount, including a hardcover book! Large interior pocket is fantastic. Since it has a wider strap it also feels very comfortable to wear. Sits nicely against my hip without sticking out. I'm short so I was afraid it would be too big but it's perfect. I got canyon and the leather is amazing. I'm just sad I waited so long to try this style. My mom loves it so much she'll be getting one too. While it gives me all the adventure vibes, it can also be paired with a skirt and still look great.
